Unlocking Your Best Year Yet: A 3-Question Guide
Embrace the Art of Asking to Unleash Your Full Potential
My goal is to ensure that every year is better than the last. In pursuit of this, I have come up with three essential questions to guide me in making this year - and every year - the best one yet. I hope these questions can be of assistance to you as well!
3 questions can pave the way to your desired destination
Who should I connect with? Over the past 15 years, I have crossed paths with countless individuals, some with whom I've lost touch, while others I've maintained strong connections. This year, as I continue to work online and attend various global events as a speaker, I will encounter even more new faces. It's crucial for me to consider not only the specific individuals I'll be connecting with, but also the types of people I need to associate with.
What should I learn or unlearn? With an average of 75 books read per year, 20 podcast subscriptions, and numerous newsletters, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge. Nevertheless, I understand that there is always more to learn. I must also reflect on the habits I need to unlearn, especially those developed during my 15+ years in the corporate world. As I gain new insights, I will share them with you, keeping in mind that there's more to running my own business than I currently know.
What should I share and with whom? This question, though a favorite of mine, is often challenging to answer. To tackle it effectively, I need to focus on my strengths and what others can learn from them, as well as identify the people who would benefit most from my knowledge.
By asking yourself these three powerful questions, you can make this year your best one yet. Believe in yourself! You got this!
