First up, let's talk about the problems with sales reps currently role playing. We all know that role playing is important for practicing and refining sales skills, but what are some of the issues that sales reps commonly encounter? We'll talk about this.

So, how can we help reps sell more? The answer lies not just in practice, but in deliberate practice. Deliberate practice is all about focusing on specific skills, breaking them down into smaller components, and practicing them over and over again until they become second nature. By doing this, sales reps can learn to respond authentically to customers, rather than relying on a script.

Before going into practice or a sales call, it's crucial to prepare your mind. Jonathan suggests 3 powerful things to get your mind right.

We also talked about how sales leaders can create psychological safety for their teams. Psychological safety is all about creating an environment where team members feel comfortable taking risks and speaking up with new ideas or concerns. This can lead to greater innovation and higher performance. To create psychological safety, leaders should encourage open communication, active listening, and a willingness to learn from mistakes. They should also lead by example, showing vulnerability and admitting when they don't have all the answers.
