Smile and wave at everyone you see

A little micro-joy magic

Now that I’m back in the Midwest where most of the roads I travel on are two lane and I can see the eyes of the driver I’m passing, or I can see the driver’s eyes when I’m walking my dogs, I make it a point to smile and wave at the people I see. I do this in the parking lots too.

And while I wasn’t expecting it, most people smile and wave back, which makes me smile even more.

It’s a little thing, it’s a simple thing, but it’s a wonderful thing, because I love to make others smile, and because it makes me smile even more.

It’s a little micro-joy magic to make my day just a little happier, and it’s a fun practice to do.
